A professional and friendly dog grooming service for small and medium sized dogs, (large breeds accepted with puppy introductions only). I have over 30 years experience in grooming, handling and behaviour using positive reinforcement. My emphasis is a calm, caring and relaxed service for you and your canine friend.

How We Got Here
Since completion of her training at the London Academy of Grooming Canine Comforts and establishing the business in 1994, Handsome Hounds has been owned and run by professional groomer and canine first aider Sue, who's passion and experience in grooming and behaviour has made the business the success it is today.

PUPPY INTRODUCTIONS
A Positive Start
For most puppies up to 6 months. A series of short sessions to gradually introduce them to the sights and sounds of the grooming environment is recommended. What is achieved during these sessions is very much down to the tolerance of the individual pup.
Large breeds are accepted for puppy introductions no later than 14 weeks old.
