The world of dog grooming is forever changing, be it equipment and products, legal requirements and Dog Laws or all the different styles and techniques groomers need to learn for all the different breeds.
Add to this the training we need in correct and safe handling of dogs, first aid and an understanding of canine behaviour.
I ensure I keep my knowledge and skills up to date by attending regular seminars, events and dog shows and subscribing to the latest grooming publications.
I completed my Groomer Training in 1994 with The London Academy of Grooming. The course covered all aspects of Canine Styling Techniques to City & Guilds Standards, Safe Handling, Handstripping, First Aid, Canine Nutrition, Behaviour & Psychology.
My Canine First Aid training was last updated July 2008 with Animal Aiders.
